HelloTech has added two services for customers to choose from and is looking for experienced technicians to fulfill them! The In-Wall Cable Running service and TV Wire In-Wall Concealment will be available to all technicians who are interested.

In-Wall Cable Running is a service that technicians have been asking for on behalf of customers for some time. As a tech performing this service you can run coaxial, CAT6, and speaker wires for a customer. The service includes one cable run with the option of running more if the customer desires for an additional fee. The service does not include the setup of devices, but can be added on for an additional fee. Horizontal runs will be excluded from this service.

TV Wire In-Wall Concealment has been something technicians have already been performing as an add-on to the TV Mounting services we offer. Customers have been requesting this service as a standalone service, but we have been unable to provide it until now. HelloTech has created the In-Wall Cord Concealment service to allow technicians to provide this installation for customers. This service will be performed using In-Wall Power kits to make sure the cable that is run through the wall is rated for that environment. Similar to the add-on within the TV Mounting service, you will be compensated if the customer requests that the technician provide the power kit. Extension cables, longer power cables, power strips, and similar items are not always rated for this type of installation and should not be used anywhere inside the wall.

If you are a technician who already has the TV Mounting skill active, you will not need to take additional action to start receiving TV Wire In Wall Concealment orders.

Technicians interested in the In-Wall Cable Running service will need to read the provided guide when adding the skill within the tech app to understand the limitations and recommendations for the service.
